It was carried out within the framework of the Internationalization Planning and Management Module of the 12th edition of the Diploma in Internationalization of Higher Education (DIES).<\/p>\n
The opening of the conference featured welcoming words from Dr. Leticia Jim\u00e9nez, OUI Academic Director, who also introduced the speaker Mtra. Sara Vera Aguirre, Director of Strategic Projects and Engagement EDEX Education Group.<\/p>\n
Throughout the day, the speaker addressed her success story with the EAN University, where she designed the Internationalization Policy, Global Vision, highlighting the integration of impact indicators into the 2030 agenda, incorporating sustainability into the university curriculum, diversifying the portfolio of mobility and global projection and activities of research and university operation. Likewise, as part of the implementation of the policy, it created an important link between internationalization and social projection and innovation projects, prioritizing issues related to diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n
She ended with a question and answer session where the participants extended their doubts. Finally, the closing and farewell by our Academic Director.<\/p>\n
This first module of the Diploma in Internationalization of Higher Education allows participants to develop management and planning skills in internationalization. 35 directors and teachers from 23 higher education institutions from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic participate in the module.<\/p>\n
