Responsible interpretation of metrics conference<\/p>\n

As part of the start of the Pilot Test of the Communication and Visibility of Scientific Production Course, the Responsible Interpretation of Metrics Conference was given by Dr. Iara Vidal Pereira de Souza, Librarian at the Fluminense Federal University.<\/p>\n

The session began with welcoming remarks from Dr. Fernando Daniels, Director of Planning and Development at the IOHE, who contextualized the session and introduced the tutors and speaker. They then introduced Dr. Germana Barata and Dr. Luciane Stallivieri, the course’s academic tutors.<\/p>\n

The floor was then given to Dr. Vidal, and the speaker began with an explanation of the history of metrics, explaining examples and metrics in detail.<\/p>\n

Finally, there was a question and answer session, as well as a few final words from the tutors and Dr. Daniels.<\/p>\n

Participating in the Pilot Test of the Communication and Visibility of Scientific Production Course are 28 professors, researchers and coordinators from various institutions in Brazil.<\/p>\n
