{"id":2363,"date":"2016-08-02T17:00:08","date_gmt":"2016-08-02T21:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oui-iohe.org\/asup-oui-miembros\/"},"modified":"2019-01-09T14:41:55","modified_gmt":"2019-01-09T19:41:55","slug":"asup-iohe-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oui-iohe.org\/en\/asup-iohe-members\/","title":{"rendered":"ASUP, new associated member of the IOHE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.asup.pe\/\">Asociaci\u00f3n de Universidades del Per\u00fa (ASUP)<\/a>\u00a0became recently the latest Associated Member of the <strong>Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE)<\/strong>, and the 31st signatory member of the <em>Memorandum of Understanding <\/em>(MoU) of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.caie-caei.org\/en\">Conference of the Americas on International Education (CAIE)<\/a>, whose Executive Secretariat is located in the IOHE.<\/p>\n<p>With 65 public and private universities, the ASUP meets its objectives of university representation in the Peru and abroad. This non-profit institution was founded in 2014 and has the following pillars: internationalization, university autonomy, quality and accreditation, as well as research.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the IOHE, with <strong>more than 345 members <\/strong>and<strong> 36 years of experience<\/strong>, is internationally recognized for its contribution to the creation of common higher education spaces at the continental level, in order to stimulate the implementation of innovative strategies promoting the quality and the relevance of its institutional work.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The values shared by both the IOHE and the ASUP form the basis for a prolific collaboration.
