{"id":2441,"date":"2016-06-03T17:00:40","date_gmt":"2016-06-03T21:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oui-iohe.org\/asamblea-regional-colombia-2016\/"},"modified":"2019-01-09T15:49:00","modified_gmt":"2019-01-09T20:49:00","slug":"regional-assembly-colombia-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oui-iohe.org\/en\/regional-assembly-colombia-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Regional Assembly Colombia 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Regional Assembly Colombia of the <strong><em>Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE)<\/em><\/strong> took place on June 1st, 2016, at the headquarters of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ascun.org.co\/\">Asociaci\u00f3n Colombiana de Universidades (ASCUN).<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the context of this meeting, highlighted was the commitment expressed by the delegates of the 21 represented institutions that have formed teamworks, while concentrating on the initiatives and projects of the IOHE in the region leadered by Dr. Germ\u00e1n Anzola Montero, President of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.udca.edu.co\/\">Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In this 2016 Assembly, Colombia develops important IOHE activities that aim at improving the Higher Education in the Americas, such as the<a href=\"http:\/\/congresociki.org\/\">\u00a0International Conference on Knowledge and Innovation (CIKI)<\/a>\u00a02016 conceived by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/colam.oui-iohe.org\/es\/\">College of the Americas (COLAM)<\/a>, from the 31st of October to the 1st of November, in collaboration with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usta.edu.co\/\">Universidad Santo Tom\u00e1s<\/a>,\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/ufsc.br\/\">Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.egc.ufsc.br\/\">Engenharia do Conhecimento (EGC);<\/a><\/em><em>the International Seminar on Social Innovation: Where are we going to?
