Ottawa, Canada \u2013 On Friday, May 31, the Institute of Management and University Leadership (IGLU<\/strong><\/a>) and the C\u00e9gep de Jonqui\u00e8re<\/a> Language Center concluded the IGLU-OUI-IOHE English for Managers Program in the city of Ottawa, Canada.<\/p>\n

The group of Latin American executives was received by M. Raynald Thibeault, Directeur General, C\u00e9gep de Jonqui\u00e8re, Dr. Leticia Jim\u00e9nez, IGLU Executive Director, and by the Director of the Language Center of C\u00e9gep de Jonqui\u00e8re, M Guy Paradis. This group came to Canada to experience an immersion in the language based on topics related to their directive functions.<\/p>\n

Throughout two intense weeks of work, the participants developed their communication skills in English in the field of higher education, at the same time they attended coaching, motivation and leadership workshops.<\/p>\n

In addition, as part of this training activity, they made different visits to Higher Education Institutions of the Canadian capital: University of Ottawa<\/a> acting as regional OUI-Canada Vice-presidency, the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE<\/a>), Universities Canada<\/a>, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan<\/a>), Carleton University<\/a> and Algonquin College<\/a>.<\/p>\n
