The Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (OUI-IOHE), the College of the Americas (COLAM<\/a>) and the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia<\/em> (UCC<\/a>) are pleased to present to the academic community of the Americas the publication of the book \u201cInter-American Prize for Educational Innovation in Higher Education \u2013 Edition 2018 \u201d, which brings together 32 innovative educational experiences and practices submitted to the competition by 25 institutions of higher education in 12 countries of the Americas within the framework of the 2nd<\/sup> edition of the MEIN Prize, held on October 22 and 24 of 2018, at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia<\/em> (UCC), in Medell\u00edn.<\/p>\n

The publication aims to promote the dissemination, exchange and knowledge of practices and experiences committed to educational innovation, as well as to recognize the work carried out by these participating higher education institutions for the improvement of teaching-learning processes.<\/p>\n

We thank again all the participating institutions and their respective representatives, for sharing with their peers the challenges and opportunities that arise in their oganizations. We extend a special thanks to the members of the international jury and the staff of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia<\/em> who accompanied the event and the edition of the book.<\/p>\n
