The Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE)\u00a0 began its “Webinars 2020” with the participation of experts in higher education who discussed topics responding to the expectations of the current situation caused by the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), in the context of the Latin American region.<\/p>\n

In the first seminar: \u201cBuenas Pr\u00e1cticas de las IES Frente a la Crisis del COVID-19\u201d, which was held on April 8, the following participated: Pedro G. M\u00e1rquez, Vice-President for Research and Internationalization of Royal Roads University, the Executive Director of the Centro Interuniversitario de Desarrollo (CINDA) Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Lemaitre and Jos\u00e9 Leonardo Valencia Molano, President of the Fundaci\u00f3n Universitaria del \u00c1rea Andina. They shared the experiences and perspectives for the cases of Canada, Chile and Colombia.<\/p>\n

For the second webinar the guests were: Hans de Wit Director CIHE, Boston College USA, Jocelyne Gacel-\u00c1vila, Coordinadora General OBIRET, Universidad de Guadalajara and Marcelo Knobel Rector, UNICAMP Brasil quienes desarrollaron el tema de “Proyecciones y Perspectivas de la Internacionalizaci\u00f3n de la Educaci\u00f3n Superior en la Nueva Realidad “Post-Crisis”.<\/p>\n
