Esto hace que exista una gran paridad entre los objetivos de la carrera y los objetivos planteados por la Agenda 2030 para el desarrollo sostenible, principalmente en temas de ambiente y cambio clim\u00e1tico. La Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda de Biosistemas (EIB) de la Universidad de Costa Rica, propone a trav\u00e9s de este proyecto, una estrategia de capacitaci\u00f3n para sus docentes e investigadores, para el fortalecimiento de las tres \u00e1reas de enfoque de la carrera (Ingenier\u00eda de Sistemas Productivos, Energ\u00edas Renovables e Ingenier\u00eda del Recurso H\u00eddrico, Suelos y Ambiente), mediante el an\u00e1lisis de los 17 ODS propuestos en la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y su implementaci\u00f3n en la profesi\u00f3n. Esto permitir\u00e1 fortalecer el enfoque integral de la carrera, tendr\u00e1 un efecto directo en la poblaci\u00f3n estudiantil a lo largo de los cursos de la carrera y permitir\u00e1 a la EIB dirigir sus esfuerzos en investigaci\u00f3n y acci\u00f3n social hacia las comunidades, que tengan un sello de compromiso, en d\u00f3nde se fortalezca el enfoque de ambiente y cambio clim\u00e1tico para beneficio de las comunidades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Una de las principales razones por las que nace el inter\u00e9s de llevar a cabo este proyecto en la Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda de Biosistemas es por su inter\u00e9s de desarrollar, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n y avances tecnol\u00f3gicos, un impacto en las comunidades, por medio de su implicaci\u00f3n y empoderamiento de las mismas. Precisamente, a trav\u00e9s de los ODS con su amplio enfoque a favor de la sociedad, se trabajar\u00e1 ese vac\u00edo, enfoc\u00e1ndose no s\u00f3lo en avances de la ingenier\u00eda, sino tambi\u00e9n la inclusi\u00f3n de las comunidades dentro de los impactos positivos de dichos proyectos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proyecto se desarrollar\u00e1 en dos etapas, la primera enfocada en la implementaci\u00f3n de los ODS en el plan de estudio y la segunda etapa, se enfocar\u00e1 en la implementaci\u00f3n de los ODS en los proyectos de\u00a0 investigaci\u00f3n, acci\u00f3n social y trabajos finales de graduacion de dicha Unidad Acad\u00e9mica. El proyecto tiene como objetivo general desarrollar un plan de acci\u00f3n para implementar los ODS en la EIB, con el fin de integrar e impulsar los ODS en los cursos de la carrera y los proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n y acci\u00f3n social de la EIB, para beneficio de la comunidad estudiantil y comunidades a nivel nacional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los resultados esperados con este proyecto son i) Inclusi\u00f3n de los ODS en cada uno de los cursos de la carrera y en las propuestas de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n, acci\u00f3n social y trabajos finales de graduaci\u00f3n, ii) Desarrollar las capacidades de los docentes para implementar los ODS en los cursos a su cargo, iii) Identificaci\u00f3n de instituciones y organizaciones que pueden estar implicadas en las actividades acad\u00e9micas y de investigaci\u00f3n de la EIB y iv) Herramienta para estimar el impacto de la inclusi\u00f3n de los ODS en la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda Agr\u00edcola aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se revisaron y analizaron las 37 Cartas al estudiante (CE), correspondientes a cada uno de los cursos a cargo de la EIB con el objetivo de identificar los ODS que cada docente a cargo del curso incluy\u00f3 en la CE.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los principales resultados que se obtuvieron fue que, de los 37 cursos de la carrera, solamente tres no tomaron en cuenta ning\u00fan ODS a cubrir en su curso (Cuadro 1).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Cuadro 1.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mapeo ODS por curso. Solamente un curso, el IB-0050-Geom\u00e1tica en ingenier\u00eda agr\u00edcola y en Biosistemas, considera los 17 ODS en su curso (Fig. 1-2).
