The École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE), College of the Americas – COLAM and the International Conference of Knowledge and Innovation – CIKI are pleased to invite Higher Education Institutions of the Americas to participate as a “local Institution” in the 9th edition of the 24 Hours of Innovation Competition, which will be held from May 24th to 25th, 2016.

24 Hours of Innovation is an international competition which takes place in the space of 24 hours, according to the format “Innovation Rally” (rapid or sudden challenge project). The competition was created by Jérémy Legardeur and his team at the Institute of Advanced Industrial Technology (ESTIA), in France, (www.24h.estia.fr) and is held every year in France (October) and in Canada (May). The Canadian edition is coordinated by the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) in Montreal:

The 9th edition of Montreal’s 24 hours of Innovation will take place from March 24th to 25th, 2016, from 9:00AM, the 24th, Eastern Canadian Time (UTC/GMT – 5 hours). The event will begin with a virtual conference (via Webex), in which the conditions of the competition will be specified. The teams will then have 23 hours to develop their project and to present it in the form of a YouTube video with the duration of two (2) minutes.
