Virtual University Management and Leadership Program – IGLU Course 2024
The opening of the IGLU 2024 Course was welcomed by Leticia Jiménez PhD, Academic Director OUI, who gave the floor to Mg. Catalina Cerquera, Academic Coordinator to introduce the invited expert, Victoria Galán-Muros PhD, Director of Research and Analysis of the International Institute of Higher Education of UNESCO.
Subsequently, the speaker addressed the topic University leadership for sustainable development and explained some of the challenges that universities face today in integrating sustainability.
The event ended with thanks to the invited expert for the excellent keynote lecture and the farewell by Dr. Jimenez.
In this edition we have 70 participants, Vice Rectors, Academic Secretaries, Directors, Coordinators, Department Heads and some teachers from different Higher Education Institutions in Mexico, El Salvador, Chile, Guatemala and Dominican Republic.
The IGLU course aims to enhance management skills, promote the ability to respond to the competitive demands of this educational sector so that participants can lead with vision the consolidation of institutional objectives.
The Virtual Program of University Management and Leadership is made up of 5 modules:
- Module I: Strategic Management
- Module II: Knowledge Management
- Module III: Resource Management
- Module IV: Personal self-management}
- Module V: Project Management
