The IOHE shares educational resources with its membership and starts its 2020 webinars

The Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE)  began its “Webinars 2020” with the participation of experts in higher education who discussed topics responding to the expectations of the current situation caused by the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), in the context of the Latin American region.

In the first seminar: “Buenas Prácticas de las IES Frente a la Crisis del COVID-19”, which was held on April 8, the following participated: Pedro G. Márquez, Vice-President for Research and Internationalization of Royal Roads University, the Executive Director of the Centro Interuniversitario de Desarrollo (CINDA) María José Lemaitre and José Leonardo Valencia Molano, President of the Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina. They shared the experiences and perspectives for the cases of Canada, Chile and Colombia.

For the second webinar the guests were: Hans de Wit Director CIHE, Boston College USA, Jocelyne Gacel-Ávila, Coordinadora General OBIRET, Universidad de Guadalajara and Marcelo Knobel Rector, UNICAMP Brasil quienes desarrollaron el tema de “Proyecciones y Perspectivas de la Internacionalización de la Educación Superior en la Nueva Realidad “Post-Crisis”.

The IOHE also made available to its membership a compilation of educational resources that is available at https://oui-iohe.org/es/recursos/ to support the initiatives in crisis management of Higher Education Institutions that integrate it.
