The IOHE Executive Secretary General carried out a work mission to the Colombia Region, during which the Regional Assembly was held, among other meetings.

As part of this working day, David Julien had the opportunity to participate in the Permanent Forum on Science and Education for Development and Peace accompanied by Maritza Rondón Rangel, Rector of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Dr. Oscar Domínguez, Executive Director of the Colombian Association of Universities, Father Julián Hincapié, Rector of the Universidad Agustiniana as well as the Vice Rector of this Institution of Higher Education.

The Session of the IOHE Colombia Region Assembly was also held, with the participation of rectors of the member universities of this region and which was held at the Agustiniana University of Bogotá.

On the other hand, the Executive director of IOHE, David Julien had a meeting with Mauricio Toro, President of ICETEX and was accompanied by the Rector and Vice Rector of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia.
