Internationalization of the Curriculum Module: a connective approach to the 13th edition of the Diploma in Internationalization of Higher Education (DIES)

The opening of the conference included the welcome words of Dr. Leticia Jiménez, OUI and Mtra Academic Director. Catalina Cerquera, Academic Coordinator of the course, who presented the invited expert, Dr. Gerardo Blanco, Academic Director of the Center for International Higher Education at Boston College and Member of the OUI Advisory Council.
Subsequently, Dr. Blanco began talking about the future of internationalization, the internationalized study plan and focused on addressing the challenges currently present in EE. UU. It ended with a session of questions and answers from participants who extended their comments and thanks for the excellent contribution. Finally, the closing and farewell by Dr. Jiménez.
This third module of the Diploma in Internationalization of Higher Education allows participants to design strategies for incorporating an international dimension into the curriculum from a connective approach.
50 directors, coordinators and teachers from different Higher Education Institutions belonging to Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela participated in the module.
The Diploma in Internationalization of Higher Education has three modules:
-Planning and Management of Internationalization
-Strategies for Academic Mobility
-Internationalization of the Curriculum: a connective approach
