The 3rd Edition of the Gender and Leadership in Higher Education Diploma has started in April 27th, 2016. This program is an initiative promoted by the College of the Americas (COLAM) of the International Organization for Higher Education (IOHE) and the Space for Women Leaders from Higher Education Institutions in the Americas (EMULIES).
In fact, 12 women coming from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru will be participating in this edition.
The purpose of this program is to offer a strong conceptual framework and some practical tools in order to include both the gender perspective in Higher Education and the development of skills and competencies in order to design, implement, and monitor professional and institutional strategies that promote an effective participation of women in the decision-making and the transforming management of the Higher Education.
