Under the theme “Strategies and Commitment to Technical Programs Outlined in the Internationalization of Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, the III Meeting of the Inter-American Space of Technical and Technological Institutions of Higher Education (EIESTEC) will be held in Cali, Colombia, on September 29th-30th, 2016, at the headquarter of the Fundación Universitaria Católica Lumen Gentium (UNICATOLICA).
This initiative launched by the IOHE, through the Institute of for University Management and Leadership (IGLU), has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the host institution.
For his part, Dr. David Julien, Executive Director of the IOHE, said that “this is a unique opportunity to keep promoting dialogue and collaboration among the institutions that enhance scientific and technical development strongly required in the continent”.
With its two previous editions, EIESTEC has facilitated the correlation among institutions which offer short-term trainings in both technical and technological fields, while ordinary actions have been met.
In this edition, university directors of the IOHE member institutions are taking advantage of this consolidated space in order to work on strengthening short-term trainings considering them as key components to the efforts made in establishing democratization and inclusion, as well as to the pertinent answers of the Higher Education Institutions.
