1.3 The competition will take place in two stages: The presentation of abstracts (Stage 1), during which a short list of research projects and case studies will be selected, with the authors invited to submit a complete detailed proposal and to present before an international jury (Stage 2).

1.4 Abstracts and full papers can be submitted in one of the four official IOHE languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese or English.

1.5 The Jury will select the three best projects presented (research or case studies). In addition, the Jury can award Honorable Mentions to those judged relevant as to their quality and impact in relation to the objectives of the Award.

1.6 Two electronic publications will be produced with all of the works presented to the International Jury: A book with the results of the selected research projects, which will undergo external peer review, and a dissemination book containing the case studies gathering innovative practices.
