IOHE and the Government of Quebec, participated in the FAUBAI 2023 Conference that took place from April 15 to 19 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The mission was integrated by the Executive Secretary General of IOHE, the Dr. David Julien and representatives of 4 Québec universities: Université Laval, McGill University, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and the Université de Montréal. The meeting was also joined by the Quebec Office in São Paulo of the Ministry of International Relations of Quebec.

The team on mission was part of the Round Tables on Inclusive Internationalization: Brazil and Canada, developing the theme: Higher Education in Québec: Inclusion and Diversity in Internationalization Policies and Programs.

Likewise, Dr. Julien took part in the closure of the event to participate in the Global Dialogue, presenting perspectives on inclusion issues.

Finally, with the objective of counting on a broad Brazilian participation in the CAIE 2023, the articulation with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Education (MEC), was achieved through Denise Pires De Carvalho, secretary of higher education of MinEduc BRA and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
