Recognizing the importance of encouraging higher education institutions (HEIs) across the Americas to participate in a common space of collaboration, the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE) has five programs that address the five axes of its Strategic Plan 2017-2022:
Organizational management and leadership
Thanks to its leadership, experience and Inter-American and intercultural activities, the IOHE offers all of its affiliate members access to training programs and activities. It also offers access to a wide range of experts to implement innovative strategies for sharing best practices and dealing with sectoral challenges and the current state of internationalization and its future prospects.
Taking advantage of the IOHE programs means having access to a variety of academic services and products offered through IGLU, COLAM, CAMPUS, EMULIES and EIESTEC, including:
Participating in the training of university project managers within the Institute of Management and University Leadership (IGLU) program
Accessing, through the CAMPUS program, new initiatives promoting cooperation between universities around university social responsibility, sustainable development issues and new study models at the doctoral and virtual levels.
Participating in research and development groups on topics such as gender equity, the position of women leaders, governability or human rights within the Women Leaders of Higher Education Institutions in the Americas (EMULIES) program.
Participating in numerous initiatives related to cooperation in the field of innovation, science and technology within technical, technological HEIs and thanks to the Inter-American Space for Higher Technical and Technological Education (EIESTEC).
